In-House Bidding

Coming to the gallery on the day of the auction is always the surest way to bid, and to know exactly what you're buying. Nothing compares to the experience of raising a paddle in the sales room, and taking the opportunity to examine all lots "first hand." If travel is convenient, attending an auction is an exciting and practical way to bid and buy.

Live Internet Bidding

Live internet bidding is available through Invaluable and LiveAuctioneers. These platforms are a third-party service and Tremont Auctions is not responsible for any errors that may occur during live internet bidding. Please note that Invaluable and LiveAuctioneers charge an additional buyer's premium for purchases made through their websites.

Absentee Bidding

Absentee bids may be placed through our office by calling (617) 795-1678. All absentee bids are subject to approval. All bids are handled in a confidential and professional manner. The deadline for absentee bids  is 24 hours prior to the start of the auction. On the day of the auction, the auctioneer will execute your bid up to your specified amount.

Telephone Bidding

Telephone bid requests may be placed through our office by calling (617) 795-1678. Telephone lines are limited, bidding is subject to approval, and is available on a first come, first served basis. The deadline for telephone bids is 24 hours prior to the start of the auction. On the day of the sale, one of our experienced telephone bidding agents will call you several minutes prior to the sale of your lot.
